Research Trip To Cambridge

RXA took a 2 day trip to Cambridge in June to explore the various new developments recently completed or currently underway. RXA are involved in a number of contemporary residential housing development schemes so it was a good opportunity for the team to see the progress in Cambridge.

The visit included a tour of Proctor Mathews Architects project ‘Abode’, Mole Architects development in Eddington and the RIBA Stirling prize winning ‘Accordia’ by Alison Brookes Architects.

There was also time for a visit to the Kettle Yard Gallery which is currently hosting an Anthony Gormley exhibition. RXA are currently involved in the design and conversion of an existing industrial building into a gallery and multi functional arts space so it was a great opportunity for the team to explore some ideas.
