Full planning has been submitted for a Photographers House. The scheme is a contemporary dwelling set within a steep valley surrounded by woodland.
The house is stepped over 3 levels to respond to the site topology and L shaped in plan to adapt to the natural slope of the site. The lower ground floor contains an indoor swimming pool and spa with sliding glass doors leading to an external natural pool. The kitchen and living spaces above open to a series of terraces looking out over the surrounding fields and woodland.
The house will be built to passive house standards and designed to be “off grid” utilising a combination of ground source heat pump, large photovoltaic solar array, and battery storage units.
