We're delighted that our Manorhouse scheme at Nyetimber Winery has been granted planning consent. Construction work is due to begin in October 2019 and complete in 2020.
The project involves the construction of a large extension set within a hill, a glazed link from the extension to the existing house and landscaping works. The scheme will provide additional family accommodation with a new family room, providing views across the garden, a kitchen and three new bedrooms all with access to the new garden. Large skylights and fenestration to the front elevation will bring natural daylight into the building.
The building will have an intensive green roof making the structure mostly hidden and blend within the hill.
The front elevation will be made of natural stone and the glazed link roof will have patinated brass panels.
The Manorhouse is one of four projects as part of a redevelopment plan RX Architects are involved with at Nyetimber.
