RX Architects were delighted to take part in the RIBAJ competition, “Future Town Centres” held in the historic Dover Town Hall.
Invited architects were asked to take on the challenge of reinvigorating the UK’s town centres to ensure they continue to contribute to community, life and the economy. The aim of this competition for Dover is to revive the central area of Maison Dieu and the River Dour with creative placemaking and imaginative design.
RX proposed a series of blue-green spaces along the existing river to create a mix of social, civic and community focus points. Our designs will feature in the July 2019 issue of the RIBA Journal.
